Step-by-Step Instructions for Chili Lime Chicken
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, and salt and pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Slice the chicken or serve it whole on a platter, optionally garnishing with fresh cilantro.
