  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika or regular paprika as alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder adjust based on preference
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper adjust or omit for spice tolerance
  • 1 tablespoon Light Olive Oil omit for oil-free

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drain and press the tofu gently to remove moisture, then slice into thin shavings (~1/8 inch thick).
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, Bragg’s Liquid Aminos, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Coat the tofu slices in the marinade and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Spread marinated tofu on the baking sheet without overlapping and drizzle any remaining marinade. Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway, until edges are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oven and cool slightly on the sheet. Store the tofu deli meat in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
