Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Mix gently and set aside.
- Scoop out portions of the meat mixture and roll into uniform balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place on a plate.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches and cook for about 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add more oil to the skillet if needed, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and optional red pepper flakes, cooking for about 2 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and stir it into the sauce, cooking until thickened (1-2 minutes).
- Return meatballs to the skillet, gently coating them with the sauce for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm over rice or noodles, or as appetizers.

Notes
Gentle mixing prevents tough meatballs. Let meatballs sit in the sauce for a few minutes for flavor infusion. Adjust honey sweetness as needed. Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
