Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until smooth. Add softened cream cheese and mix until thick and well-blended.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  6. Remove cookies from oven, cool for 1-2 minutes, then press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  7. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
