Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Scoop the meat mixture, flatten slightly, place mozzarella in the center, encase the cheese, and roll into smooth balls about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake meatballs on a lined sheet for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature hits 160°F and they're golden brown.
  5. Optional: Submerge cooked meatballs in warmed marinara sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes to enhance flavor.
