Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven's broiler to high and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped medium shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Remove from heat and let the shrimp cool for 5 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in cooled shrimp and lump crab meat. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Split the flaky biscuits in half and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Spoon the creamy seafood mixture onto each biscuit half and top with shredded cheese.
  9. Place under the broiler for 3-4 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
