Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef (5% fat) Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 cup Coarsely Chopped Pepperoni
  • 1 cup Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese Can use other cheese varieties
  • 1 cup Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
For the Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
For the Wrap
  • 4 pieces Wraps (tortillas or flatbreads) Choose thinner ones for a crispier result
Optional Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Flat-Leaf Parsley For zest

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Prepare the Spice Blend by mixing onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano in a medium bowl.
  2. Brown the Ground Beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until crumbly.
  3. Add the coarsely chopped pepperoni and spice blend, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste, simmering for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Assemble the Pizza Rolls by laying wraps flat, distributing the filling, sprinkling cheese, and drizzling with sauce.
  6. Wrap them up by folding in the sides and tightly rolling the wraps.
  7. Prepare for Cooking by placing the rolls seam-side down on a greased tray or air fryer basket and lightly spraying oil on top.
  8. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes or air fry at 350°F (180°C) for same time until golden brown.
  9. Cool and Serve after letting the rolls sit for a couple of minutes, then enjoy!

Notes
