Cooking Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Slice the beef thinly against the grain and toss in the marinade. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and the bell peppers and onions. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften but remain crisp.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet with any leftover marinade and beef broth or water. Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
