Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- While the meatballs bake, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the marinara sauce and let simmer for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Spoon meatballs and sauce into sub buns and top with shredded cheese. Place back in the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
