Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan lightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and Dijon mustard.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and dried parsley, mixing gently until just combined.
Assembly
- Spread half of the meat mixture into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan.
- Layer thin slices of ham over this base, followed by the Swiss cheese.
- Cover with the remaining chicken mixture, sealing the edges well.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45–55 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Optionally, sprinkle breadcrumbs and melted butter over the top in the last 5 minutes for a crispy finish.
- Once done, let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Serving
- Slice gently and serve warm alongside your favorite vegetables or salad.
