  • 14 g Cornstarch Or try arrowroot powder.

For the Wreath Dough
  • 115 g Vegan Block Butter Margarine can work as a substitute.
  • 165 g Dairy-Free Milk Any plant milk works.
  • 315-375 g All-Purpose or Bread Flour Use gluten-free flour blend if necessary.
  • 10 g Instant Dry Yeast Activate active dry yeast with warm milk if used.
  • 0.25 tsp Ground Cinnamon Nutmeg can be used instead.
  • 0.25 tsp Ground Nutmeg Optional.
  • 1 pinch Salt Omit if using salted butter.
For Decoration
  • Pistachios Optional; substitute with almonds or walnuts.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened. Cool completely.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, dairy-free milk, vegan butter, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix and knead until smooth (8-10 minutes).
  3. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and rise in a warm spot for at least 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Roll out the dough and spread cooled jam; roll into a log and cut it in half lengthwise.
  5. Twist the two halves together and shape into a wreath on a baking tray. Let it rest for another hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 340°F. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool on the tray.
  7. Drizzle with sugar glaze and sprinkle with pistachios. Let set before serving.
