Beef Marinade
  • 1 pound Beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger freshly grated
Vegetables
  • 1 cup Bell peppers mixed colors
  • 1 cup Snow peas
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets blanched if preferred
  • 1 cup Carrots thinly sliced
  • 2 stalks Green onions sliced
Serving
  • 2 cups Cooked rice or noodles for serving
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add sliced beef and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  3. Add marinated beef to the hot pan, stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned, then remove beef and keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, stir-fry the bell peppers, snow peas, broccoli, and carrots for 4-6 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Add beef back to the skillet, tossing to combine and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes. Adjust soy sauce to taste if desired.
  6. Remove from heat and serve over cooked rice or noodles, garnishing with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
