  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch for velveting the shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil for frying
For the Flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, freshly grated or ginger paste
  • 3 tablespoons Honey for sticky glaze
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes optional, adjust to taste
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions, sliced for garnish

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce and cornstarch to create a thick slurry. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the hot pan in a single layer. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Drizzle honey over shrimp and sprinkle with chili flakes. Toss to coat and cook for 1-2 minutes until caramelized.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve immediately over rice or as a starter.
