Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine broken mini pretzels, melted unsalted butter, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Stir until coated and spread on the baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden.
- In a separate bowl, whip room temperature cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add in the remaining sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drain the crushed pineapple thoroughly and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully integrated.
- Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, fold in the reserved pretzel clusters. Sprinkle additional pretzel pieces on top for garnish.
- Dish out into clear bowls and serve chilled.
