Preparation Steps
- Press the prepared chocolate cookie pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt 4 oz. of German’s Sweet Chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Beat 8 oz. of cream cheese in a bowl for 2-3 minutes until fluffy. Gradually add 14 oz. of sweetened condensed milk, then fold in the melted chocolate and whipped topping.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 4 hours.
- Add toppings of shredded coconut and chopped pecans before serving, drizzling with caramel sauce and adding chocolate shavings if desired.
