Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Mash 2-3 overripe bananas in a small mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Cream together 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup packed brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add 2 large eggs, the mashed bananas, and 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
