Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather your baking dish and ingredients.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic powder, and oregano until smooth.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add spaghetti, and cook for 6-7 minutes. Drain and keep warm.
- Brown Italian sausage with onion in a skillet for 5-7 minutes. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for an extra minute.
- Combine the sausage mixture with the spaghetti and marinara sauce, tossing until combined.
- Layer half of the spaghetti mixture in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Add cheese mixture, then remaining spaghetti on top.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese is golden.
- Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
