Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line your baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, and salt. Add cold, cubed unsalted butter and combine until resembling coarse crumbs.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Whisk together the corn syrup, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the pecan filling over the hot crust, spreading evenly.
  8. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the filling is set.
  9. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack, then lift out and slice.
