- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line your baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix all-purpose flour, light brown sugar, and salt. Add cold, cubed unsalted butter and combine until resembling coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- Whisk together the corn syrup, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
- Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the pecan filling over the hot crust, spreading evenly.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the filling is set.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack, then lift out and slice.
