Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core and slice the apples into wedges and set aside.
  3. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate the dough into triangles.
  4. Place an apple wedge on the wide end of each dough triangle and sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll the dough around the apple to seal.
  5. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the brown sugar and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the 7-Up until combined.
  6. Pour the syrup into a greased baking dish and arrange the dumplings on top. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
