- Melt 90g of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl for 30-50 seconds.
- Crush 1-2 cloves of garlic and chop 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, then mix into the melted butter with a pinch of salt.
- Cut diagonal slits into the loaf of bread, creating a diamond pattern without cutting all the way through.
- Spoon the garlic butter mixture into each slit, then sprinkle in grated mozzarella cheese, reserving some for later.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
