Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by preparing your pork ribs for cooking. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs and pat the ribs dry.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, brown sugar, and optional chili flakes. Coat the ribs and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking tray with foil and place the marinated ribs meat side up on the tray. Cover with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Prepare the glaze by boiling the reserved marinade in a saucepan, then simmer until thickened. Brush the glaze over the ribs after baking.
- Set your oven to broil. Place the glazed ribs back in the oven for 5 to 8 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Remove the ribs from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
