  • 4 slices Cooked Bacon Can be omitted or replaced with turkey bacon.
  • 4 pieces Jalapenos Substitute with milder peppers if desired.
  • 1 tbsp Slap Ya Mama (Seasoning) Any Cajun or Creole seasoning can be substituted.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt Fresh minced garlic can be used instead.
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Omit if sensitive to heat.
For the Dough
  • 1 pack Pillsbury Crescent Rounds Fresh dough can be used, but texture may change.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the Pillsbury Crescent Rounds and cut each piece in half to create 16 strips.
  3. Slice jalapenos in half, remove seeds and membranes, then cut into quarters.
  4. Beat the cream cheese until fluffy, then mix in cheddar cheese, bacon, and seasonings.
  5. Stuff each jalapeno with the cheese mixture and place a Lil’ Smokie on top, wrapping with the dough.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve hot with dipping sauces like ranch or salsa.
