Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice French bread horizontally down the middle and place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and sea salt. Mix until creamy.
  4. Spread a liberal layer of garlic butter mixture over the cut side of the top half of the French bread.
  5. Layer thinly sliced ham, pepperoni, and salami on the bottom half of the bread, then top with slices of provolone cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
  7. Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes if desired for extra crispiness.
  8. Mix mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl, then add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced pepperoncini.
  9. Spoon the salad mixture onto the bottom half of the sandwich, press down gently, cover with the top half, and cut into portions.
