Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, mash 3 to 4 overripe bananas until smooth. Mix in ½ cup melted butter, ¾ cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, ½ teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet banana mixture until just combined.
- In a small bowl, prepare the streusel topping by combining ½ cup brown sugar, ⅓ cup flour, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon. Cut in ¼ cup of cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour the banana bread batter into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan and sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes. The bread is done when a toothpick inserted into the center emerges clean.
- Once baked, let it cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. Be cautious not to overmix the batter for a tender texture.
