Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of granulated sugar, 1 packet of instant yeast, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix in 1 cup of warm milk, 2 ripe mashed bananas, ¼ cup of melted butter, and 1 large egg until a soft dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 60-90 minutes until doubled in size.
- Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick. Spread ¼ cup of softened butter on the dough, then sprinkle with ¾ cup of brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log shape and cut it into 9 equal pieces. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Let the rolls rise for 30-45 minutes until puffy.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- For the frosting, whisk together 4 oz of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Spread over the warm rolls.

Notes
Ensure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor. Knead the dough well for 8-10 minutes for fluffy rolls.
