Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish lightly with butter.
  2. Cover phyllo dough with a damp towel and layer 7 sheets in the baking dish, brushing each with melted unsalted butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together semolina flour, eggs, granulated sugar, whole milk, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the filling over the phyllo base, spread evenly, and layer remaining phyllo on top, brushing each with butter, and lightly score the top.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and filling is set.
  6. Drizzle honey over the baked pie and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
