Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by heating a skillet over medium-high heat and adding a drizzle of olive oil. Season the beef stew meat generously with salt and black pepper. Once the oil is shimmering, sear the beef cubes for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they develop a lovely brown crust.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for approximately 1 minute, until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, using a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits on the skillet. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the garlic sauce mixture over the seared beef in the slow cooker. Add the halved baby potatoes, gently tossing everything together to ensure the beef and potatoes are well-coated.
- Cover the slow cooker with its lid and select the low setting, allowing the dish to cook for 6-7 hours. Alternatively, set it on high for about 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper to taste. Serve the Garlic Butter Beef Bites hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
