Step-by-Step Instructions for Frozen Chocolate-Covered Bananas
- Peel the bananas and cut each in half. Insert a lollipop stick into the cut end of each piece and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Freeze for 2 hours.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy.
- Dip each frozen banana half into the melted chocolate, leaving the bottom inch uncovered. Let excess chocolate drip off.
- Return the dipped bananas to the freezer for another 30 to 60 minutes, until the chocolate is hardened.
- Melt colored candy melts and drizzle over the hardened chocolate-covered bananas. Freeze again for 10–15 minutes to set.
- Optional: Add sprinkles immediately after dipping the bananas in chocolate before it sets.
