Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Add the cold vegan butter and blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the vegan buttermilk and stir gently until a shaggy dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and flatten to about ¾ inch thick.
  6. Fold the dough over itself several times to create flaky layers, then flatten to 1 inch thick.
  7. Cut out biscuits with a cutter without twisting, and repeat until all dough is used.
  8. Arrange the biscuits on the tray, brush with soy milk, and ensure they are close but not touching.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and rising.
  10. Brush with melted vegan butter after baking for added richness, if desired.
