Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Place 2½ pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of a 5-quart slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, cracked black pepper, and smoked paprika over the chicken. Massage the spices into the meat.
  3. Layer a diced large yellow onion on top of the seasoned chicken, followed by frozen mixed vegetables.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of chicken soup, condensed cream of celery soup, and chicken broth, then pour over the chicken and vegetables.
  5. Cover and set the slow cooker to cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 5-7 hours.
  6. Carefully remove the chicken, shred it, and stir in heavy cream.
  7. Preheat your oven and bake the biscuits according to the package instructions.
  8. Serve the creamy filling in bowls alongside freshly baked biscuits.
