Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dishes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the white cake mix, Greek yogurt, and water until smooth.
  3. Divide the batter into three bowls: one plain, one red, and one blue. Mix well.
  4. Pour the colored batters into baking dishes and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Let the cakes cool completely, then crumble into a large bowl.
  6. Roll the crumbled mixture into tablespoon-sized balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Insert sticks into the center of each ball and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  8. Melt the candy melts and shortening until smooth.
  9. Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted coating, ensuring full coverage.
  10. Sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles before the coating sets.
  11. Chill again for 30 minutes until the coating hardens before serving.
