  • 1 cup Brewed Green Tea Opt for loose leaf for the best flavor.
  • ½ cup Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
  • ⅓ cup Honey Or your preferred sweetener.
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes Essential for chilling.
  • 1 bunch Fresh Mint Leaves Optional garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by bringing 1 cup of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1 tablespoon of loose leaf green tea, steep for 5 minutes. Strain and let cool to room temperature.
  2. While the tea cools, cut 4 to 5 small lemons in half and squeeze them to collect about ½ cup of lemon juice.
  3. In a pitcher, combine the cooled green tea and lemon juice. Add about ⅓ cup of honey or your sweetener of choice, stirring until fully dissolved.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the mixture over the ice, and optionally garnish with fresh mint leaves.
