Step-by-Step Instructions for Crustless Quiche Lorraine
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch deep dish pie plate.
  2. Fry the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy and golden, about 5-7 minutes, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté chopped yellow onions in leftover bacon grease until soft and golden brown, about 7-8 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, half and half, kosher salt, cayenne pepper, and black pepper for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  5. Fold in the crispy bacon, sautéed onions, Gruyere cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese into the egg mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into the greased pie plate, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and chopped chives.
