Equipment

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, and bacon bits. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper for seasoning. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, positioned in a diamond shape. Place about 1 tablespoon of the creamy filling in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom over the filling, tuck the sides in tightly, and continue rolling to seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat, bringing the temperature to 350°F (175°C). Carefully lower the prepared egg rolls into the oil, frying them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crisp.
  4. Once golden and crispy, remove the egg rolls from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
