Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine 250 g all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of active dry yeast. Mix these dry ingredients well, then add 160 ml of warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Transfer your sticky dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, covering it with a damp cloth or plastic wrap. Allow it to rest in a warm spot for 30 minutes.
Pizza Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F. Warm your cast iron skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release air. On a floured surface, stretch the dough into a disk that fits your skillet.
  3. Spread about 100 g of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle 150 g of shredded mozzarella cheese on top and arrange 50 g of pepperoni slices.
  4. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil around the crust edge to help achieve an even crispiness.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  6. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly for easy handling.
