Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to enhance the flavor of the pasta.
  2. Add the macaroni to the boiling water and cook it al dente for around 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Without draining the pasta, reduce the heat to low and stir in the milk and whole milk ricotta cheese.
  4. Gradually mix in the shredded cheddar cheese while stirring continuously on low heat to melt smoothly.
  5. Taste and add salt as needed before serving immediately in bowls.
