- If desired, heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the crockpot, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Gently place the seared chicken breasts into the mixture, making sure they are completely submerged.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooking time is complete, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crockpot.
