  • 8 slices Bacon Cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded or cubed
  • 0.25 cups Red Onion Finely diced
For the Dressing
  • 0.33 cups Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vinegar White or apple cider
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt More to taste
  • 0.125 teaspoons Black Pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vinegar until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  2. Add thawed peas, crumbled bacon, diced red onion, and cheddar cheese to the dressing. Gently fold to combine without mashing the peas.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Before serving, stir the salad gently and adjust seasoning if necessary. Optionally top with additional crumbled bacon before serving.
