For the Salad Mix
  • 1 cup Chopped Baby Dill Pickles For crunch and flavor.
  • 8 oz Colby Jack Cheese Cubed, can substitute with cheddar.
  • 1/2 cup White Onion Finely chopped.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Dill Chopped, use dried if fresh is unavailable.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Flavor the pasta by tossing warm pasta with dill pickle juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Finely chop the baby dill pickles, dice the Colby Jack cheese, and chop the onion.
  4. Combine the pickles, cheese, and onion with the pasta, folding gently.
  5. Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, extra dill pickle juice, dill, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Pour the dressing over the pasta and mix gently until coated.
  7. Chill for at least 1-2 hours to meld flavors.
  8. Serve chilled, garnished with dill or pickle slices if desired.
