Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the glass by running a lemon or orange around the rim, then dip in sugar until coated. Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Cut a long strip of orange peel using a vegetable peeler. Set it aside for garnish.
  3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine ginger simple syrup, fresh orange juice, and fresh lemon juice. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice and pour sparkling apple cider over the mixture.
  5. Squeeze the orange peel strip over the cocktail to release essential oils, adding aroma.
