  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce or Crushed Tomatoes
For the Wraps
  • 4 large Flour Tortillas or whole wheat for a healthier option
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise optional
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 2 tbsp Butter for brushing/toasting

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the Ground Beef in a large skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic with the beef for 2-3 minutes until onion is translucent.
  3. Mix in paprika, chili powder (if using), cumin, salt, and pepper. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and mayonnaise (if using) until smooth. Stir in half of the mozzarella, half of the cheddar, and parsley.
  5. Assemble the wraps by laying a tortilla flat, adding cheese mixture, beef filling, and remaining cheese. Fold securely.
  6. Toast the wraps in a skillet with melted butter for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place wraps in a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with dipping sauces.
