  • 1 cup Water Boiling water.
For the Red Layer
  • 1 packet Red Jello Raspberry, strawberry, or cherry recommended.
For Topping
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream Homemade or store-bought.
  • 6 pieces Maraschino Cherries For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Gather six clear cups and arrange them on a sturdy tray for easy handling.
  2. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Pour it over the blue jello packet in a mixing bowl, stir until dissolved, then let cool.
  3. Distribute the blue jello mixture into the cups, filling each about one-third full. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes until set.
  4. In the same saucepan, bring another cup of water to a boil, dissolve the unflavored gelatin, then mix in sweetened condensed milk.
  5. Allow the white mixture to cool slightly, then pour it over the set blue jello. Refrigerate for another 20 minutes.
  6. Boil 1 cup of water for the red layer, stir over the red jello packet, let cool, then pour over the white layer.
  7. Chill the cups for 1 to 2 hours, or until the red layer is completely set.
  8. Top each cup with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry before serving.
