Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Evenly distribute half of your cubed brioche across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cubed cream cheese across the brioche layer, followed by half of your fresh strawberries.
- Top off with the remaining brioche cubes, ensuring the filling is covered.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and kosher salt until fully combined and frothy.
- Evenly pour the custard mixture over the assembled layers in the baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or ideally overnight.
- Before you’re ready to bake, take the dish out of the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, carefully remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 25 to 30 minutes.
- Once baked to perfection, let it cool slightly and serve immediately, topped with fresh strawberries and confectioners' sugar.
